I love free hospital food. There’s something about getting to choose whatever you want and having it be free. I order stuff I probably wouldn’t normally order if I was paying for it, because, hey, if I don’t like it at least I didn’t pay for it. For those of you wondering if we’ll be eating pressed turkey from the hospital cafeteria today…..not a chance. The Bartolucci and Giller families will both be bringing us some homemade turkey goodness.

What a crazy day. We had no idea that we would become parents today when we went to bed last night. It’s pretty surreal. I know there are so many babies born everyday, but this one is ours. We love him and are enjoying every minute with him tonight. We have so much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. Thank you to all of you who have sent encouraging comments throughout the day. It means a lot to us and we look forward to hearing more.
He makes the cutest newborn baby noises. Don’t you love those little noises?

or should I say B-day? It looks like our son is coming today. Stay tuned to the blog and sign up for my Twitter (on the left of the page) to hear updates. I’m so tired right now and it just started. I can’t complain though, seeing what Jenn has to go through today. Water broke at 1:00am and we got to the hospital at 3am.
