Why do babies cry at the doctor’s office? I think I figured it out mathematically. Consider how little a newborn is (about 21 inches long) and how big an average sized doctor is, about 5ft 10 inches tall. Next time you are sitting on a cold table in one of the medical gowns waiting for the doctor to come in, let see how much you start crying when a 19 ft 5 in giant comes in and starts poking at you and sticking things in you.

Drew’s reaction when I told him another winter storm was coming.

Drew just threw up down my shirt. I started to dry heave and almost threw up my ziti dinner on the both of us. Jenn was laughing so hard at this, she had to run to the bathroom and nearly pee’d her pants. I love this.

Winter can be beautiful in the northeast despite some of the bad things that can happen like losing your power for 3 days after an ice storm. I was awake Thursday night at 3am when the lights went out. I’ve only been changing diapers for a couple weeks now and let me tell you, its not any easier to do in the dark holding a flashlight. Jenn and I made it through a couple nights without power mainly due to the fact that our gas fireplace provided heat. There was pretty much nothing to do, so I had my camera with me and took tons of shots over the weekend. My friend Brian described it best when he said the entire area looked like the winter wonderland in the movie Narnia. Here are some shots I took.

It was unusually warm earlier today. This type of weather gets me thinking about spring ,and when I start thinking about spring, I start thinking about baseball. The best feeling is when our softball teams hits the field for the first time and you know you have the entire season to play. Actually, it can be interesting when we first hit the field for practice since there can still be snow on the ground in March. This past year, we had a blast. Our group of guys brought home the title.
I’ve been putting a lot of baby pictures up lately, mostly requested by the female followers of the blog. So, I thought this post would be most interesting to the guys. However, not to disappoint the ladies, there is a picture of a future slugger (good hitting baseball player…in case the ladies didn’t know what a slugger was) below the team pic, wearing his “Daddy’s Little All Star” shirt.

Sometimes Jenn uses this cute voice to pretend to be Andrew talking to me. I really like it for some reason even though I know its not really him talking to me. Here’s how a conversation went when I came home from my first day back at work today:
Me: “Hey Drew”
Drew: “Hey Dad”
Me: “How was your day today?”
Drew: “My belly button fell off”

So, I’ve been receiving some heated emails and texts demanding some more pictures of Drew. He had a bath yesterday and he really enjoyed it. Here’s a pic after the bath.
